Fred Kniss

Fred Kniss serves as Provost Emeritus at Eastern Mennonite University, a position held since July 2009, after previously serving as Provost. Prior to this, Fred Kniss was a Professor and Chair of Sociology at Loyola University Chicago from 1991 to 2009. Educationally, Fred Kniss earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago between 1984 and 1992, and a B.A. in Sociology, Philosophy, and Religion from Eastern Mennonite University from 1975 to 1979.
