Mohamad Qatu

Mohamad Qatu currently serves as the Dean of the Game Above College of Engineering and Technology at Eastern Michigan University since July 2015. Prior to this role, Mohamad was the Director of the School of Engineering and Technology at Central Michigan University from August 2011 to July 2015. Mohamad's academic career includes a position as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University from August 2008 to August 2011. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Supervisor and Technical Leader at Ford Motor Company from March 2000 to August 2008 and as a Senior Research Engineer at Dana Corporation from April 1997 to March 2000, where leadership of the fluid systems NVH group was a key responsibility. Mohamad Qatu earned a Master's degree and PhD in Engineering Mechanics from The Ohio State University from December 1986 to June 1989 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Yarmouk University, obtained from September 1981 to June 1985.
