Walter Kraft

Walter Kraft has extensive experience in communications and media, currently serving as the Vice President for Communications at Eastern Michigan University since August 2009, where responsibilities include enhancing the university's image and managing multiple departments such as Media Relations, Marketing, Integrated Content, and WEMU-FM. Prior to this role, Walter Kraft was the Executive Vice President at Caponigro PR from 1998 to 2009 and served as News Director and Executive Producer at WXYZ-TV in Detroit between 1990 and 1998. Walter Kraft holds a BA in Telecommunications from Michigan State University and has pursued further education at Oakland University, Wayne State University, and Oakland Community College.
