April Puckett

April Puckett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. April currently holds the role of Human Resources Director at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hinkle Shanor LLP from 2018 to 2021, where they served as a Human Resources Manager, Payroll Manager, and Benefits Administrator, while also functioning as a HR-Department of One. April began their career at Sanders, Bruin, Coll, & Worley, P.A. in 2009 as a Paralegal, specializing in areas such as Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Nursing Home Neglect, and Wrongful Death, and eventually transitioning to Estate Planning, Probate, General Civil Litigation, and Employment and Labor Law. April also had short-term roles as an Associate at Farmers Insurance in 2009 and as an Associate at Toys R Us from 2003 to 2008. April's work experience also includes a role as a Resident Assistant at Freed-Hardeman University from 2005 to 2008.

April Puckett, AACP, SHRM-DoO holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Freed-Hardeman University. April has additional certifications including the SHRM - HR Department of One Specialty Credential (SHRM-DoO) from SHRM and the American Alliance Certified Paralegal (AACP) from the American Alliance of Paralegals, Inc. April also holds certifications as a Paralegal from the State Bar of New Mexico and as a Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.
