Eugene J. Cassidy

Eugene J. Cassidy serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Eastern States Exposition since December 1993, overseeing strategic, financial, and operational planning for one of North America’s largest agricultural fairs, which significantly contributes to the regional economy. Previously, Eugene held the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Finance within the same organization, where responsibilities included financial controls and human resources. Eugene is also the Treasurer for LEGATUS since September 2010. Prior experience includes serving as Treasurer and COO at Chicopee CoOperative Bank, which was publicly traded, and as Assistant Vice President at Park West Bank & Trust Co. Additionally, Eugene worked with KPMG - Peat Marwick in audit and business consulting. Eugene J. Cassidy earned a BSBA degree in Accounting and Economics from Western New England University from 1980 to 1984.
