Kelly Moreland has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 17 years. Kelly started their career as a Marketing Intern at Clear Channel Entertainment in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Development Intern at Easter Seals. From 2005 to 2008, they were a Marketing Coordinator at Live Nation - Midwest Music, where they developed marketing plans for numerous concerts and events across multiple states.
Since 2008, Kelly has been employed at Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley. Kelly began as a Special Events Manager, where they successfully raised over $500K annually through fundraising events and managed volunteer committees. In 2014, Kelly transitioned to the role of Director of Development & Marketing. In this capacity, they cultivated individual and corporate donors, designed an individual giving plan, and utilized storytelling techniques to increase revenue. Most recently, Kelly serves as the Vice President of Development, where they oversee and strategizes the organization's fundraising efforts.
Kelly Moreland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2001 to 2005. In 2015, they completed the Executive Fund Development Leadership Program and received a Certificate of Completion from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
