Pete Lankford

Pete Lankford is a seasoned footwear design professional currently serving as the Vice President of Design at Eastland Shoe, where responsibilities include leading the design of the company's footwear line and aligning it with brand vision. Previously, Pete founded Lankford Design, offering consulting and design services with a focus on sustainability in the footwear and apparel industry. As a founding member and Director of Design and Sustainability at Erem, Pete established brand strategies and frameworks. A long tenure at Timberland, where roles included Design Director of Footwear Concepts and Creative Director for various lines, saw the development of innovative products and strategies that significantly contributed to the company's growth. Pete holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Architecture from Syracuse University.
