Charles Newsome

Charles Newsome is an experienced procurement and project management professional with a strong background in capital projects and supply chain strategies. Currently serving as Global Capital Procurement Manager at Eastman since September 2022, Charles previously held the role of Project Procurement Manager at DSM Sourcing B.V. from 2012 to 2022, where responsibilities included developing procurement strategies for large projects and achieving significant cost reductions. Prior experience includes positions at PepsiCo as Warehouse, Building & MHE Category Manager, and at Frito-Lay in engineering roles, where substantial capital productivity was realized. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Alcorn State University.
