Hemant Dandekar

Hemant Dandekar is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries, currently serving as the Global Commercial Director for the Automotive Interlayers Segment at Eastman Chemical Company since April 2017. Dandekar has a successful track record in strategy development and execution, previously holding significant positions such as Director of Marketing and Strategy, and Director of Corporate Strategy at Eastman Chemical. Prior to this, Dandekar served as President & CEO of Porcelain Industries Inc. and as a board member and mentor at various organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and Jumpstart Foundry. Dandekar holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
