Jeff Carbeck

Jeff Carbeck has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jeff is currently serving as the Vice President of Corporate Innovation and Care Solutions Technology at Eastman, a position they started in 2024. Prior to this, Jeff held the role of Vice President of Corporate Innovation at Eastman from 2021 to 2024.

Before joining Eastman, Jeff was the CEO of 10EQS from 2018 to 2021. Jeff also worked as a Specialist Leader in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing at Deloitte Consulting from 2013 to 2018. During this time, they also served as a Senior Technical Advisor at LiquiGlide from 2013 to 2014.

Jeff's earlier experiences include working as a Subject Matter Advisor in Advanced Materials at Deloitte, Founding Chief Technology Officer at MC10, and Co-Founder and CTO at Arsenal Medical. Jeff also worked as the Chief Scientist at Nano-Terra, LLC and served as a Professor at Princeton University from 1998 to 2005.

Jeff Carbeck received their BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1990. Jeff then pursued their PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, and Applied Math at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing it in 1995. Following that, they conducted Post Doctorate research in Chemistry at Harvard University from 1996 to 1998.
