Kirstin Morton

Kirstin Morton is a seasoned professional in analytical chemistry and polymer characterization, currently serving as the Group Leader of the Polymer Characterization Lab at Eastman since 2015, where responsibilities include rheology, mechanical, thermal, and chemical hazard testing. Previously, Kirstin held roles as a Product Manager for the Aventa compostable materials portfolio and Innovation Process Manager in corporate innovation efforts. With a comprehensive background in scientific research, Kirstin was a Senior Scientist and Advanced Microscopy Applications Scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where significant contributions included the development of electrochemical sensors and the coordination of interdisciplinary research. Educational credentials include a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the College of Charleston.
