Charles Laux

Charles Laux serves as the Director of Orchestras at Lassiter High School since July 2022 and is an active clinician with Eastman Music Company and D'Addario & Company, Inc. since 2012. With a wealth of experience, Charles has held positions such as Orchestra Director at Alpharetta High School, Assistant Professor of Music Education at Kennesaw State University, and conductor of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra's Camerata Youth Orchestra. Charles has contributed to various organizations, including Hal Leonard Corporation as an Essential Elements Clinician and running Laux Services LLC, offering conducting, adjudication, and private instruction. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Music Education from The Ohio State University and multiple degrees in Music Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and Ohio University.
