Koroush Khalighi

Koroush Khalighi has diverse work experience in the medical field. Koroush started their career at Easton Hospital in 1996, where they held multiple roles including Director of Electrophysiology Laboratory and Medical Director of ACLS. Koroush also served as the Immediate past president of medical staff, Chairman of the credential committee, Medical Staff President, and Vice President of Medical Staff at Easton Hospital. In 2013, they joined New Eastwood as the Medical Director of Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Besides their hospital work, Koroush Khalighi also worked as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist and Cardiologist at Easton Csrdiovascular Associates, P.C. Koroush is a Fellow at the Heart Rhythm Society, American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, and American College of Cardiology. Koroush Khalighi is also a Member of the American College of Physician Executives and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Koroush Khalighi has a diverse education history. In 1978, they completed an Associate's Degree from Comton Community Collage. Koroush then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from California State University, Los Angeles, which they obtained in 1982. Khalighi furthered their education at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Biology/Physiology in 1983. Following this, they attended Universidad Technologica de Santiago, Shool of Medicine, from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. In 1987, they undertook Postgraduate Clinical Training, Externship at Puerto Rico Department of Health, Humacao Sub-Regional Hospital. Khalighi continued their medical training with an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Seton Hall University from 1988 to 1991. Koroush then pursued a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship Program at the same university from 1991 to 1994. Finally, they completed a Cadiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program from 1994 to 1996 at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. In 2013, Khalighi obtained a certification as a CPE (Certified Physician Executive) from the American Association for Physician Leadership by completing the Certifying Commission in Medical Management.
