Jackie Excell

Jackie Excell is an experienced Data Engineer currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at EastPack Limited since August 2025. Previously, Jackie worked at Genesis as a Data Engineer from June 2023 to August 2025 and held roles ranging from Associate Data Engineer to Commercial Analyst at Mercury NZ between April 2022 and June 2023. Early career experiences include positions such as Intermediate Data Engineer and Junior Data Engineer at Kotahi Logistics LP Ltd, and a Teaching Assistant role at The University of Auckland. Jackie also participated in the Microsoft Student Accelerator Programme and Machine Learning Fellowship, with foundational experience as a Data Analyst at BRANZ and a Planner at Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd. Jackie holds a Master's degree in Applied Computing from Lincoln University (expected completion February 2025) and a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Auckland. Additional educational credentials include a National Certificate in Business from Wintec and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Chongqing Technology and Business University.
