Cara Evans is a seasoned professional in the charity sector with extensive experience in leadership and operations management. Currently serving as the Head of Partnerships and Mergers at Eastside People since July 2023, Cara has previously held significant roles including Chief Operating Officer at The Mix Charity, where improvements to finance, HR, and project management systems were successfully implemented. Notable past positions include leading as the CEO of HemiHelp, where the organization provided critical support for families affected by hemiplegia, and serving as the Operations Director at The Communication Trust, overseeing a coalition aimed at enhancing speech and language understanding. With a career that began in community fundraising at Whizz-Kidz, Cara has consistently driven income generation and organizational growth throughout various charity roles. Cara holds a BA (Hons) in History and Politics from De Montfort University.
