Weihan Chen

Weihan Chen, CFA has a solid work experience in various roles within the financial industry. Weihan was a Portfolio Manager at Eastspring Investments from March 2018, responsible for managing three balanced fund of funds mandated by major life insurance companies in Taiwan. Prior to that, they worked as a Prop. Trader at Yuanta Securities from June 2015 to February 2018, where they managed a global equity portfolio with an absolute annual return target. Weihan also served as a Portfolio Manager at Deutsch FarEastern Asset Management from June 2014 to June 2015, managing a balanced fund of funds. Before that, they worked as an Analyst & Portfolio Manager at Hontai Life Insurance from August 2013 to June 2014, actively managing a $40 million fixed income portfolio with a 5.2% annual target return. Their career started at Yuanta Securities Investment Trust in July 2011, where they worked as an Analyst until July 2013.

Weihan Chen, CFA, completed their education with a Master's degree in Finance from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, which they pursued from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Finance from the National Taiwan University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Weihan Chen also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from CFA協會, which they achieved in August 2017.
