John Abad

John Abad currently serves as Vice President for Strategic Portfolio Management and In-Force Management at EastWest Ageas Insurance since May 2023. Prior to this role, John held multiple positions at AXA Philippines from March 2016 to May 2023, including Pricing Actuary and Finance Business Partner. John's earlier experience includes actuarial roles at PhilPlans First, Inc. and a brief stint as a Technology Consultant at Hewlett-Packard. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Nanyang Business School, an Innovation Fellowship from the Asian Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science from the University of the Philippines.
