Chris Javier

Chris Javier has a diverse work experience in the banking and IT industry. Chris started their career in 2000 at Security Bank Corporation as a Senior Programmer and Production Support Engineer, where they gained expertise in Echannel programming and support, ATM switch, phone banking, mobile banking, Smartvista switch, and Tandem base24. In 2008, they joined DTSI as a Technical Consultant specializing in PL/SQL. Chris then worked at Blitz IT as a SWIFT Application Support and Project Manager, and at Bank of Commerce (Philippines) as a Project Manager and Senior Manager for EChannels of Corporate & Retail, ATM Switch, and Remittance. Chris joined Accenture in 2015 as a Transition & Mobilization Manager, focusing on Pre Sales, Client Engagement, and Transformation management. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Section Head at Metrobank's Service Management Division, overseeing ATM Switch, Card Management System, and ATM Machine. Currently, they hold the role of Head Application Production Support at East West Banking Corporation.

Chris Javier completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from the University of the East, from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Hands-On Data Science" in 2024, "LinkedIn's AI Academy" in 2023, "Project Management Foundations" in 2023, and several others related to customer service, leadership, and technical skills in 2023. They also completed several LinkedIn courses on SQL and data science in 2021.
