Alex Perkins

Alex Perkins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alex started their career as a Fraud Educator and Analyst at the Commission for Financial Capability in 2018. During their time there, they also served as a Project Lead, overseeing a project focused on assessing the affordability of a scam call blocking device for vulnerable populations.

In 2019, Alex joined Auckland University of Technology as a Teaching Assistant, providing support in the classroom until 2020.

From 2016, Alex worked at Print Matters Ltd as an Office Manager, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office.

Most recently, Alex served as a Verification/Compliance Specialist and Fraud/Scam Support at Easy Crypto, where they played a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations and preventing fraudulent activities. Alex then took on the position of Head of Compliance, leading the compliance efforts of the company to make cryptocurrency accessible and understandable for all.

From 2013 to 2015, Alex Perkins attended Albany Senior High School where they pursued a degree in NCEA. Following this, they enrolled at Auckland University of Technology from 2017 to 2019, obtaining a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Finance & Economics.
