Ammar Karim

Ammar Karim currently serves as the Group Executive Director and Head of BI, Data Science & CVM Analytics at easypaisa Bank Limited, a position held since September 2020, following roles as Executive Director and Director in the same field. In addition to industry leadership, Ammar is involved in academia as an Industry Advisory Board Member at NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and a Corporate Advisory Board Member and Visiting Faculty member at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Previous professional experience includes managerial roles in data science at Etisalat and Jazz, and positions in research and teaching at the National University of Sciences and Technology, as well as roles at the Japan Patent Office and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Ammar's research background includes a position as a Research Analyst at CERN and a Research Fellow at Università degli studi Roma TRE. Ammar holds a Master of Science degree from the University of London.
