Julia Espeso serves as the Ecosystem Director at Eatable Adventures since March 2023, following a tenure as Food and Science Manager at Harvard University from January 2021 to March 2023. With a strong foundation in applied physics and food science, Julia completed a master's thesis under Dr. Pia Sörensen during a research fellowship at Harvard's SEAS Food and Science Laboratory and holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from the Basque Culinary Center. Relevant experience includes leading product development projects at industry-leading firms, contributing to research on food waste and fermentation at the Basque Culinary Center, and consulting on strategy development in the hospitality market with Mateo&co. Julia's academic background includes a Research Fellowship at Harvard University, a Master's degree from the Basque Culinary Center, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Bath. Additional experiences include a summer internship as an Oenologist at Bodegas Grupo Yllera and an undergraduate placement in pharmaceutical sciences.
