Timo Tuukkanen

Timo Tuukkanen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of digital transformation and business development, currently serving as the Director of Ecosystem & Ventures at Bentley Systems since March 2020. In this role, Timo focuses on strategic initiatives to enhance corporate growth through product expansion, acquisitions, and partnerships. Timo's background includes a successful tenure at Bentley Systems from 1996 to 2018 in various leadership positions, where responsibilities included managing sales teams, developing solutions for sectors such as energy infrastructure and transportation, and leading the EMEA government business development efforts. In addition to Bentley Systems, Timo co-founded Citymon Oy, a consultancy dedicated to sustainable infrastructure, and previously held the position of COO at PayiQ, enhancing operational and sales strategies for smart city solutions. Timo holds a Master of Science degree in Geomatics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
