Paula Giser has extensive experience in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and innovation. Paula is currently working as the Senior Director of Agri-Foodtech Acceleration Programs at Eatable Adventures, where they manage relationships with global food corporations and evaluates international startups for corporate programs. Prior to this, Paula held the role of Director of Corporate Programs at Eatable Adventures, where they were responsible for managing relationships, generating new products and services, and evaluating startups for corporate programs. Paula also served as the Director of Incubation & Acceleration Programs at Madrid Food Innovation Hub, where they developed programs and analyzed and selected startups. Before that, they worked as the Lab Manager R&D at FoodLab, consulting for entrepreneurs and innovation departments of major food corporations in Israel, and applying new technologies in product development. Paula also has experience as a food safety consultant and auditor, including roles at Avocado Food Consulting, Dr. Koppmann Consultant, Sealed Air Diversey Care, DNV GL, and the University of Buenos Aires. Paula has expertise in GMP and HACCP training, sanitary inspections, and drafting procedures and manuals.
Paula Giser earned their MSc. in Food Science and Technology from the University of Buenos Aires, where they specialized in Food Consulting. Paula pursued this degree from 2003 to 2009. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Innovation and Design Thinking from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Besides their academic achievements, Paula holds certifications in ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor, ISO 9001:2008 Lead auditor, and Standard interpretation FSSC 22000:2011, all from DNV GL.
