Heather Schragg, CIC, II

Heather Schragg has a diverse work experience in the fields of healthcare and insurance. Heather began their career at State Farm in 1998, where they served as an Underwriting Team Leader II until 2004. Afterward, they joined Coverys as a Senior Account Executive, where they worked from 2004 to 2012. During their time at Coverys, they gained valuable experience in account management and client relations within the insurance industry.

In 2012, Heather Schragg transitioned to the healthcare sector and joined Eaton Rapids Medical Center as the Director of Quality and Risk Management. Over the years, they progressively took on more responsibilities, becoming the Director of Quality, Risk Management, Accreditation, and Medical Staff in October 2021. Throughout their tenure at Eaton Rapids Medical Center, they demonstrated expertise in ensuring quality standards, managing risks, and achieving accreditation for the organization.

Heather Schragg, CIC, II completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Child Development with a cognate in History from Michigan State University, where they also took additional coursework in Elementary Education from 1992 to 1997. Heather obtained their Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in December 2004. In subsequent years, they obtained several additional certifications, including the Center for Domestic Preparedness Hospital Emergency Response Team Certification from FEMA in July 2018, the Healthcare Lean Green Belt Certification from Lean Fox Solutions, LLC in June 2019, the Certification in Quality and Safety from IHI in July 2019, and the Implementation Science Healthcare Performance Improvement Certification - Implementation Influencer Certification from MHA Keystone Center and Vlasic & Roth LLC in October 2019.
