Mike Fischer

Director Of Engineering at EatStreet

Mike Fischer began their work experience in 2010 as a Course Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they helped struggling students with programming and completed machine problems. In 2011, they worked as an Information Systems Division Intern at Walmart, managing an upgrade of an accounting application and validating batch scripts. In 2012, they interned as a Software Developer at Epic. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at Epic, managing the enhancement of the Emergency Department workflow and conducting technical interviews. In 2015, they joined EatStreet as a Senior Software Engineer and later took on the role of Engineering Manager - Delivery, where they managed a team and coordinated the development and release of features for the delivery platform. In 2019, they became the Director of Engineering at EatStreet.

Mike Fischer received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Mike also obtained several certifications, including "Accessibility Best Practices" and "Mobile Accessibility Best Practices" from the Bureau of Internet Accessibility in March 2020. In October 2019, they obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, in April 2017, they became a "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)" through the Scrum Alliance. Mike also obtained two certifications from Epic, namely, "ASAP Emergency Department" and "Inpatient," both obtained in October 2013.
