Andy Sutherland has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the automotive industry. Andy started their career as an Engine Test Technician at Ricardo Consulting Engineers before progressing to Development Engineer and then Senior Development Engineer, where they were involved in engine development projects. Andy then joined Ricardo Vehicle Engineering, where they served as a Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer, overseeing the thermal development of vehicles and implementing innovative cooling systems. After their time at Ricardo, Andy moved to BorgWarner Inc., where they worked as a Technical Specialist and Trend Champion, contributing to the development and integration of thermal technologies. Andy later joined TI Fluid Systems, serving as the Global Lead Thermal Systems Engineering and then advancing to Global Director Vehicle Thermal Systems and Global Advanced Engineering Director, Components & Modules. In these roles, they led teams, developed new products related to thermal management, and implemented strategies to enhance company revenue and profit. Most recently, Andy worked at 7Oaks Innovation as the President and is currently the Chief Engineer at EAVX. From 1990 to 1994, Andy Sutherland attended Coventry University and earned a BEng Hons degree in Automotive Engineering Design.
