Sam Ashoo

Sam Ashoo, MD, currently serves as the Medical Director of the Central Medicare Unit at Centene Corporation since February 2023. Ashoo has been the Editor-In-Chief of Clinical Pathways and a host of the EMplify Podcast at EB Medicine since January 2020. Additionally, Ashoo holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Florida State University since August 2005. Previous roles include Emergency Physician and Medical Director of Emergency Services at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare until November 2023 and Founder of Learn EM from November 2016 to March 2022. Ashoo has also contributed to medical education through podcasting with Hippo Education, LLC and EM:RAP, Inc. Ashoo completed a Bachelor's degree at Florida State University and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Florida.
