Carlos Moreno

Carlos Moreno is a Scientific Data Engineer at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), focusing on the ChEBI project, with notable achievements in transitioning release strategies to modern workflows. Previous experience includes roles as a Python Developer at Globant for the Great Minds client, at Servinformación working on a PWA application, and as a Software Developer at El País, where technologies such as AngularJS and MySQL were utilized. Carlos also contributed to the development of a social network for marketers at Markaf Colombia and improved existing systems at Clínica San Francisco. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Carlos also holds a diploma in Data Science and Machine Learning and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Universidad del Valle.
