Paula Frampton

Paula Frampton is a skilled research programme manager currently serving at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since April 2020. With prior experience as the executive manager of the Cambridge Academy of Therapeutic Sciences and strategic network coordinator in public health at the University of Cambridge from October 2012 to April 2020, Paula developed strategies to enhance population health research and fostered collaborations across various disciplines. Additional roles include a secondment as the population health science network manager at Public Health England and research programme manager at the Medical Research Council. Paula's career began as the research development manager at Deafness Research UK. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Biochemistry and Biological Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
