Syed Nakib Hossain

Syed Nakib Hossain is a Bioinformatics Developer at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since December 2021. Prior to this role, Syed worked as an Engineer I, progressing from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh from April 2018 to November 2021. Key responsibilities included developing internal tools, managing CI/CD infrastructure, and leading AWS cloud operations. Syed holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, completed in September 2017, and a Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science from MC College, attained in 2012.
