Somaraju Putta has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as a Mechanical Chargeman at APSRTC - State Transport Buses in Hyderabad in 1999. Somaraju then moved to Jasper Industries Private Limited in 1997, where they were a Workshop Incharge. In 1996, they joined Tata Motors Limited in Jamshedpur as a WST. In 2001, they took on a role as Territory Manager at TVS Motor Company Ltd in Hosur, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad. In 2004, they became an Area Manager - After Sales Service at Honda Siel Cars India Limited in Greater Noida, UP. In 2007, they were an Asst General Manager - Field Service at Ashok Leyland Limited in Chennai. Finally, in 2014, they became General Manager - Customer Support at KPIT Technologies Limited in Pune. In 2020, they took on the role of Vice President - Operations at eBikeGo, where they are responsible for electric vehicle mobility as a service operations management, bike rental deployments, and more.

Somaraju Putta attended Coventry University from 2017 to 2019 and obtained a Master's degree in Stratetic Engineering Management.
