Kristen Simone

Kristen Simone is an experienced educator and tutor with a focus on reading and writing instruction. Currently serving as a Reading and Writing Tutor at EBL Coaching since May 2021, Kristen has previously held various teaching roles, including Lead Teacher for First Grade at Amber Charter School, and General Education Teacher in ICT classrooms at Citizens of the World Charter Schools. Kristen's background in education also includes positions as Co-Lead Teacher at Harlem Village Academies and Associate Teacher at Girls Prep Charter School, along with experience in early childhood education as a Substitute Teacher at Trevor Day School and Teaching Assistant at PS 59. Prior to a career in education, Kristen held several communication roles, including Director of Communications at NARSAD and Interim Director of Communications at the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers. Kristen holds a Master's degree in Childhood Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from William Smith College.
