Bertrand J. Schutz

Bertrand J. Schutz has a diverse and extensive work history. Bertrand J. started their career as the Director of the Zurich Agency at Invest in France Agency from 1991 to 1996. From 1996 to 2010, they served as the Deputy General Director at Centre International de Traitement et de Recyclage. Bertrand J. then went on to become the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at VALDI - ERAMET, where they focused on commercial development, change management, and regulatory strategy. In 2012, Bertrand joined Eramet as the VP of Recycling External Affairs. Bertrand J. later became the CEO of Diesoil Engineering AG from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they co-founded Varem Energie AG and served as CEO. Currently, Bertrand holds the position of Head of New Business Development at EBL (Genossenschaft Elektra Baselland) since December 2019 and Secretary General & Business Developer at Libattion since January 2022.

Bertrand J. Schutz completed their Master IGIA degree in Agro-Alimentaire at ESSEC Business School from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, they graduated with an Ingénieur degree in Agriculture & Agro-Industriels from Ecole d'Ingenieurs de PURPAN between 1985 and 1989.
