Derry L. Moten

Derry L. Moten holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Workforce Education and Training from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Currently serving as the Special Assistant to the General Manager in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Culture at EBMUD since May 2014, Derry L. Moten manages various Employee Development programs and provides internal Organizational Development Consulting. Derry L. Moten has also held significant positions at the San Francisco International Airport, overseeing Employee Development and Organizational Performance, and has been involved with the Fighting Back Partnership and CPS HR Consulting as a Board Member. Previous experience includes leadership roles in organizational learning and development, strategic planning, and workforce development across multiple organizations.
