Edna Ouko-Lehnert

Edna Ouko-Lehnert, CSP, serves as the Manager of Workplace Health and Safety at EBMUD since October 2016, leading a team of EHS professionals to implement a companywide safety and compliance strategy. Previous positions include Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist and Environmental Health and Safety Specialist II, where Edna provided expert advice for water and wastewater treatment operations. Additional experience involves roles such as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Houston Community College, QHSE Engineer at Geothermal Development Company Ltd, and Lead for Special Projects at Renewable Energy Ventures (K). Edna holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology from Gubkin Russian State University and has obtained advanced certifications in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Organizational Leadership.
