Laurens Van Hoye

Laurens Van Hoye started their work experience in 2016 as a Summer Intern Product Innovation at Ingenico, where they developed a chatbot prototype for an e-commerce project using Java and validated it with end users in a focus group. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Ghent University, successfully completing their Doctorate in Computer Science Engineering with a thesis on mitigating trust issues in ad hoc collaborations. Since 2023, Laurens has been employed as a Data Engineer at e-BO Enterprises.
