Valeria Tivnan has a diverse range of experience in the health and wellness field. Valeria has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Merrimack College since 2017, teaching classes on health promotion, chronic disease prevention, and population health analytics. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Population Health Strategy and Well-Being at EBS, where they supported clients in developing and delivering wellness programs. Valeria also held positions at Preventure, Inc., where they served as the Director of Client Outcomes and the Director of Client Engagement. Valeria has also worked as a Health and Wellness Consultant, Manager of Health Coaching and Member Engagement at The Full Yield, Inc., and Team Leader at The Health and Wellness Institute. Additionally, Valeria has experience as an Interaction Analyst at Eliza Corporation, a Health Coach/Clinical Research Manager at Wellpoint, and a Personal Training Certification Instructor at the American College of Sports Medicine. Valeria began their career as a Wellness Center Manager and Fitness Center Manager at Fitcorp. Throughout their career, Valeria has focused on developing and implementing wellness programs and coaching strategies, as well as managing teams and providing education in the health and wellness industry.

Valeria Tivnan has a vast education history. Valeria started their academic journey in 1984 at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education/Exercise Science until 1988. Valeria then decided to further their studies and attended Boston University from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a Master's degree in Education (Health). Later, in 2002, they enrolled at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and completed their Master's in Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in Community Health Science in 2004.
