Marc Shapiro

Marc Shapiro, MD, currently serves as a Physician Consultant for EBSCO Industries, Inc. and holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. As an Attending Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital since January 2019, Marc Shapiro has gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, previously serving as the Medical Director for Mass General Brigham Urgent Care and the Emergency Department Medical Director at Yale New Haven Hospital. With academic roles as an Associate Professor at both Yale University School of Medicine and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Marc Shapiro has contributed significantly to medical education and simulation. Additionally, a medical career that began in 1993 includes pivotal roles at Rhode Island Hospital and Martha's Vineyard Hospital, where Marc Shapiro demonstrated leadership and clinical expertise. Marc Shapiro earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1989.
