Darryl DeAngelis has over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Darryl began their career in 1989 as a Service Manager / Sales Manager at ACME Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Inc. In 1994, they moved to Gibbs & Cox, Inc. as an HVAC Engineer. From 1995 to 1999, they worked at General Dynamics as a Senior HVAC Engineer. During this time, they worked on projects related to advance ship design and technologies, leading the development of a new test laboratory, and establishing ISO-9001 program into the company. In 1999, they became the National Sales Manager at Mestek, Inc., where they were responsible for motivating and managing the national representative sales force and the continued growth and evolution of two brands. Darryl also worked on a project to overhaul the product line of a former industry leading brand. In 2002, they joined Aztech Engineers, Inc. as a Project Manager, responsible for leading engineers and draftsman in the development of MEP construction documents. Finally, in 2005, they joined Belimo Americas as Manager, Market Intelligence. In this role, they were responsible for providing market research for internal customers through monitoring industry trends, competitor actions, intellectual property filings, code and regulation development, government behavior, and association activities. In 2018, they moved to EBTRON as Director of Business Development.
Darryl DeAngelis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy between 1985 and 1989. Darryl has also obtained several certifications, including Pragmatic Marketing Certified from the Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in January 2011, Market Driven Customer Focus Training from Western Connecticut State University in June 2009, Product Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in October 2005, LEED 2.0 Accredited Professional from the U.S. Green Building Council in January 2003, HVAC Systems Noise and Vibration Control from ASHRAE in November 2000, Injection Molding Plastic Part Design from the Society of Plastic Engineers in October 2000, and Environmental Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Hartford in December 1998.
