Chyrone Ragland

Chyrone Ragland, M.A. has significant work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 1997, Ragland worked in the United States Army as a Procurement Specialist, responsible for managing unit supply equipment and overseeing unit government purchases. During this time, Ragland also created career development milestones for subordinates and ensured zero discrepancies during inspections.

Moving on, Ragland joined L3 Technologies in 2005 as the Production Control Night Shift Lead, where they managed operations for the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) and made sure all application upgrades and installs were accurate. Ragland also updated the battalion's website and social media platforms to promote morale and recreation activities.

In 2007, Ragland became a Project Manager at CGI, overseeing the Army War Reserve Deployment System operations and maintaining the AWRDS user guide. They also updated the battalion's website and social media with relevant information.

They achieved this through relationship building, networking events, and contract negotiations. Ragland was also responsible for copywriting, recruiting, and enrolling students.

Chyrone Ragland, M.A. has a diverse education history. They began their academic journey at Trinity College and University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they also attended Central Texas College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Art/Art Studies from 2001 to 2003.

In 2012, Chyrone enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University and completed their Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing in 2016. This was followed by their pursuit of a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies, which they earned from Southern New Hampshire University from 2016 to 2018.

Additionally, Chyrone has obtained several certifications throughout their career. They completed the SAS-Appalachian State University Academic Specialization in Business Analytics through SAS in May 2021. They also obtained certifications in "Creating a Military Spouse Program" and "Creating a Military Friendly Culture and Onboarding Program" from SHRM in January 2020 and December 2019, respectively. Furthermore, they received the "Master Military Resume Writer (MMRW)" certification from CareerPro Global, Inc. in August 2018. Chyrone has also acquired technical certifications such as "Storage+" from CompTIA in December 2015 and "Security+" from CompTIA in December 2012. Additionally, they have completed various LinkedIn certifications, including "Ethics in the Age of Generative AI," "Generative AI: The Evolution of Thoughtful Online Search," "Streamlining Your Work with Microsoft Bing Chat," and "What Is Generative AI?" all obtained in July 2023. Lastly, Chyrone obtained an SEO certification from HubSpot Academy in October 2021.
