Kat Nielander is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience and expertise in the field. Kat is currently employed as a Cyber Security Instructor at Applied Technology Academy since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Sandia National Laboratories as an Information Systems Security Manager and Cloud Architect/Cyber Assurance Engineer, where they researched and developed cyber solutions for enterprise-wide systems and networks. From November 2022, they have also been working as a Cyber Security Instructor at EC-Council and as a Co-Owner in Supplementary Cyber Education Training Company at Allied Cyber LLC. Before these roles, they served as an Information Security Instructor at CIAS, UTSA at the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security, where they played a key role in courseware development and design update.
