Malone Roofing

The "Malone" name has a deep heritage in the roofing and construction business spanning over four generations. Malone Roofing Services is a leader in residential and commercial roofing, roofing service and maintenance as well as metal wall panels. At Malone Roofing Services, our mission is to perform for our customers the highest level of quality construction services, at fair and market competitive prices, while ensuring the longevity of our company through repeat and referral business. We achieve this through customer satisfaction in all areas including: timeliness, attention to detail and service-minded attitudes. The Malone story began with Horace Malone and Coda Ray Pace Sr. opening Hub Sheet Metal in the late 1940's fabricating sheet metal ducts and roofing flashings. In 1959, Horace Malone branched out and purchased Hattiesburg Sheet Metal and Roofing and changed the name to Malone Roofing and Sheet Metal. MRSM quickly evolving from residential into commercial roofing, then in 1973, Horace's sons, Charles and Cornell Malone, decided to leave the family business and form Hattiesburg Roofing and Sheet Metal. In 1983, Cornell Malone decided to go out on his own and formed E. Cornell Malone Corporation. The 1980's were a time of growth and expansion for ECMC and in 1991, the company began a six-year run at its first satellite office in Jackson, MS. Then in 1998, Cornell's sons Roman and Ryan became full-time employees in the family business which began its second wave of expansion. In 2000, Cornell along with Roman and Ryan relocated to Jackson, MS to re-open the Jackson office and made a serious commitment to the market. The company quickly grew into two strong branches. In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Malone Roofing Services was born. The company tripled in size. Today ECMC and MRS have grown to become one of the largest full-service roofing companies with over 250 employees in eight locations throughout the Southeast region.
