Ricardo Arjona Antolin

Ricardo Arjona Antolin has held a variety of positions in the business world. Ricardo began their career in 1992 as a Project Manager at AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation). In 1999, they became an Associate Professor at the Universidad de Sevilla. In 2002, they took on the role of Business Development New Energy at INERCO, S.A. In 2004, they became Executive Vicepresident, Technology Development Vicepresident, and Director General at Abengoa Bioenergy. In 2011, they were appointed General Director of Abengoa Bioenergy New Technologies. In 2016, they founded and became Chairman of ec2ce. In 2017, they became President of both BDi Biotechnology and VLPbio. In 2020, they were appointed Patrono of FIAL - Fundación de la Inteligencia Artificial Legal.

Ricardo Arjona Antolin obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Sevilla, followed by a MS and BS in Industrial Engineering with a focus in Chemical Engineering from the same university. Ricardo then went on to receive a Strategic R&D Management degree from INSEAD, and a Business Administration degree from the Escuela de Organización Industrial.
