Giancarlos Guerra

Giancarlos Guerra has held a variety of roles in the IT and cybersecurity fields since 2010. Giancarlos began their career as a System Administrator for Salient CRGT in 2010. In 2017, they held three roles simultaneously: Advisory Project Delivery Manager for Deloitte, Sr. System Engineer (InfoSec) - Cyber Incident and Handling for Ace Info Solutions, Inc., and Systems Engineer II (Windows) for ABBTECH. Currently, they are the Incident Response & Cyber Defense Operations Lead for Echelon Services, LLC.

Giancarlos Guerra has a diverse educational background. Giancarlos attended T.C. Williams, followed by Northern Virginia Community College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies. Giancarlos then attended George Mason University from 2009 to 2011. Giancarlos went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information System with a focus in Cyber Security Management from Strayer University, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including CompTIA A+ (2009 edition) and CompTIA Network+ (2009 edition) in 2010, CompTIA Security+ ce in 2016, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) in 2017, and C|EH in 2017.
