Activity Specialist at Camp Echo Lake

Ira Huff is an accomplished Activity Specialist at Camp Echo Lake since April 2020 and a Coach at Blue Label Lacrosse, leveraging twenty years of lacrosse experience to foster player development. In addition to current roles, Ira serves as the Lead Youth Activity Attendant at YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, overseeing youth programming, and as a Co-Director at Earth Lacrosse Programs, focusing on Indigenous cultural awareness. Previous experiences include coaching at Incline Lacrosse, writing for Lacrosse All Stars, and teaching as an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture. Ira’s background also includes editorial work with the Tonawanda Seneca Nation and academic credentials, holding an MFA in Creative Writing from the Institute of American Indian Arts and a BA in English & Textual Studies from Syracuse University.
