Joel Rundgren

Joel Rundgren has diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joel started their career as a Master Thesis intern at Micronic Mydata AB in 2009. Later, from 2011 to 2015, they worked at Mycronic as a Mechatronical Engineer, developing embedded software for high precision robots. In 2015, they joined ÅF as a Technology Consultant, assisting in the startup of a cooperation between a client and their partner company in Japan. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Scrum Master, responsible for an Agile team developing observability tools and embedded software for 5G Baseband Telecom technology. In 2018, Joel became a Team Manager at AFRY, leading agile teams specializing in software development for the telecom, med tech, and automotive industries. Currently, they are working as a New Business Lead at Last People Standing AB and will be joining Echo State AB in 2023.

Joel Rundgren's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Joel obtained their M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics - Automation Control from this institution in 2011. During their studies, they also participated in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore in 2010, focusing on Control Theory.

In addition to their formal education, Joel Rundgren has acquired several certifications. In 2018, they obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2016, they obtained the IPMA D, Project Management certification from Svenskt Projektforum. Most recently, in 2019, they earned the SAFe 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In 2020, Joel Rundgren obtained the Group Development Questionnaire certification from GDQ Associates.
