David Montague

David Montague has a long and successful career in the security industry. David began their career in 1998 as an International Business Specialist at Cooper Security, then moved to Cooper Industries in 2004 as an International Sales Manager. In 2008, they joined FLIR Systems as Senior Sales Director EMEAI - Security & OGI, where they worked with the General Manager and President to develop an effective commercial plan in line with group strategy. David also supported both tactical and strategic campaigns across the business, including Marketing, Business Development and Product Management teams. David then moved to EMEA Sales Director, where they developed a market leading position in the EMEA region for FLIR Systems through strong marketing and sales planning. David identified opportunities in new and existing areas, from concept to long lasting business relationships. David then returned to FLIR Systems as Sales Director Europe. David is currently the Director Of Business Development EMEAI at Echodyne, a position they have held since 2022.

David Montague attended Mid Glos Technical College, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Sir William Romney Grammar.
