Jason Mallinak has a diverse range of work experience in engineering roles. Jason worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Echogen Power Systems starting in 2018. Prior to that, they were a Boiler Process Engineer at Babcock & Wilcox from 2014 to 2018, where they evaluated boiler thermal performance and analyzed feasibility of retrofit projects. From 2013 to 2014, Jason worked as an Engineer and Risk Facilitator at NASA Glenn Research Center, guiding risk management activities and teaching risk management workshops. Before that, they were a Thermodynamics Intern at Echogen Power Systems, where they developed steady state models for thermal system components and managed updates to the steady state model library. Jason also gained experience as a research assistant and teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and as a Co-op Engineer at Babcock & Wilcox and The Equity Engineering Group.
Jason Mallinak completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron in 2010. Jason later pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2012.
