Mary Armstrong

Mary Armstrong is a seasoned marketing and communications professional currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Marketing & Communications at General Atlantic since September 2018, where oversight of global strategies is a key responsibility. Mary is also a Board Member at Echoing Green, which promotes social innovation, and at BritishAmerican Business, facilitating transatlantic business relations. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Communications for the Americas at Warburg Pincus and directing client services at Brunswick Group. Mary began their career at Jackson Spalding after earning a BA in English and Spanish Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
