James Lucas

James Lucas has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the medical device industry. James currently holds the position of Vice President EMEA at EchoNous Inc. Prior to this, they served as Director at Emson Ltd, where they assisted medical device manufacturers in setting up and expanding distribution channels in the EMEA region. James also aided manufacturers in launching new products and implemented product and clinical training.

From 2014 to 2020, James worked as the Vice President EMEA at Terason. During this time, they played a key role in the company's operations and growth in the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets.

Before joining Terason, James held the position of Business Manager - Developing and Emerging Markets at Halyard Health. James was responsible for managing business activities in these markets.

From 2010 to 2012, James worked as the Managing Director - Europe, Middle East, and Africa at ZONARE Medical Systems, Inc. James was instrumental in driving the company's success in these regions.

In 2009, James served as the General Manager - Europe at Ultrasonix Medical Corporation. Prior to that, they held the position of General Manager - Western Europe at SonoSite Ltd. from 2002 to 2009. During their tenure, they effectively managed and expanded the company's operations in Western Europe.

James also has previous experience working at Philips Medical Systems, Acuson, and Hospital Services Ltd, where they held various managerial positions specializing in sales, account management, and applications management.

- From 1983 to 1987, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and received a BTEC Higher degree in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement.

- Between 1988 and 1991, they studied at the Society of Cardiological Science and Technology, earning an MSCST degree.

- In 1996 and 1997, they attended Anglia Ruskin University and obtained a PGC degree in Medical Ultrasound.

- Finally, from 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Swansea University.
